    Music Ministry

Our goal is to praise the Lord skillfully with music and bring His church into the realization of His presence in unity

At Berean Bible Church, our objective is to worship in spirit and in truth. We accomplish this by holding to our doctrine in our teaching, but also in our music. The Sunday morning worship service is a blended program of classic hymns and modern worship that seeks to draw the entire body of Christ into the presence of God.

In other services, we seek to worship with the music that is the most relatable to the people attending the service. For example, in our Sunday night traditional service we sing only hymns from the hymnal. For the youth group, we sing primarily sing modern praise and worship.

We believe that worshiping on a Sunday morning in a blended way as to bring us together as the family of God while worshiping in smaller groups that have their own musical preference, we accomplish worship on many different levels.

If you would like to get involved in the worship team or any of the other music groups at Berean Bible Church, please feel free to call the church or the music pastor, Nick Garland, at 717-917-5691. Or keep reading to see a list of the musical opportunities available at Berean.

    Special Music

We are commanded to encourage and uplift each other with songs, hymns, and spiritual songs (Colossians 3:16). The special music heard during the Sunday morning worship service definitely helps us to follow this command. If you would like more information about special music, call Nick Garland at 717-917-5691.

    Choir

The choir at Berean is led by Julie Dawson and has been for many years. Handbells

One of the musical groups unique to Berean is the handbell choir. Having two separate groups depending on your experience, there is a spot for everyone. The handbell choir is featured in the Sunday worship service around the holidays, and other select events. The handbell choir is led by Julie Dawson. If you would like more information concerning the handbell choir, call Nick Garland 717-917-5691.

    Children's Choir

One of the blessings around the holidays at Berean is hearing the children’s choir. We encourage singing from the nursery on up, so the children’s choir is a staple of pride in knowing we’re raising the children in the way they ought to go. Children’s choir is lead by Jillian Gabel and the practices are during the children’s church during the Sunday worship service at 10:30.
